Welcome to South African Wine Company!
As the name suggests, we only offer wines from South Africa. These are as inexpensive as possible tasted directly from me on the wine farm, bought and imported to Germany. I only buy exclusively of small, partially unknown family farms, so-called “boutique wineries” in order to offer the highest quality at the lowest price.
Our product range currently comprises six reds and six whites, each with a cuvee. Our range is expanded each year, but shall always remain clear in order to facilitate your decision!
Stay updated and informed on our blog or Facebook page about news, special offers and dates for wine fairs and winetastings. I wish you a lot of fun to choose your South Africa experience now!
Cheers! Yours Sven Jaime
Stony Brook The ‘J’ 2013
“This is a fragrant blend of 43% Sauvignon Blanc, 39% Viognier, 13% Semillon and 5% Chardonnay. Only the Semillon and Chardonnay were barrel- fermented and matured for eleven months in second-fill French oak barriques. The Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier are unwooded which gives a wonderful crisp, citrus freshness to the blend. This wine has great balance with rich layers of aromatic floral spice and butterscotch, countered by a touch of sweetness from the Viognier and bright acidity from the Sauvignon Blanc. The palate is creamy and silky, with a long textured finish, while the wood component adds a delicate hint of hazelnuts. A wonderful wine to serve with Thai food, or any dishes that contain ginger and a touch of chilli.“

Rickety Bridge Paulina’s Reserve Chenin Blanc 2012
“Dominant peach and ripe pear aromas with notes of spicy oak. A rich mouth-filling wine with good structure and a long finish of dried fruit, white flowers and subtle minerality. 100% of the wine was barrel fermented in a 2500litre oak foudre and left to age for 7 months on its primary lees ensuring the full and creamy mouth feel. No sulphur additions were made during or after fermentation, only at bottling.“
